I have heard and experienced on many a occasion over the past year or so how cheeky Air Arabia counter staff get (sic) with their hidden agenda and charges they levy for basic facilities under the guise of being a “low-cost-carrier.

But today they upped their tricks to a new level.

They proclaimed in loud and clear words that they do not want or like Wheel Chair Passengers. If any handicapped passenger or aged person is fooled by the prices (that in anycase are not as cheap as other normal airlines) then they will whip the passenger with a whopping Dh. 172 charge at the airport for providing them with a wheelchair facility.

The breakup is Dh100 at Sharjah and Dh 72 at destination airport. In the past it was Dh 50 which increased to Dh 100 and today they demanded Dh 172 at Sharjah Airport.

So passengers, if you ever are having a problem, then consider this added cost on your ticket – ONE WAY before you decide that you want to book yourself in Air Arabia.

Today they have lost one passenger!

ps: Travellers to India – consider Kingfisher or Jet airways or Air India Express prices before you book Air Arabia. Today the price for Emirates was almost the same as Air Arabia (sic)
