With deep sorrow I learned the passing away of Sheikh Mohammad Al Amri.  A scholar and a Mujtahid of 1950’s.  An Ayatullah and a Mujahid of this century and close associates of Ayatullah Khomeini, Ayatullah Khamaenai, Ayatullah Rafsanjani and Ayatullah Sistani.

His whole life was dedicated to the cause of spreading message of Imam Husain (a.s.) and especially in this part of world which is called Saudi Arabia.   He was the source of guidance, education and inspiration.

He not only united shias in Saudi Arabia but raised his children as Alims who are serving in Saudi Arabia at different locations.  He was the first person who created scientific library of all time famous books where a student can find all references.   He made orphan houses and carried charity work tremendously.  He helped in poors education and he was the source of relief for widows and orphans in Medina Al Munawwara.

Everyone from shia community will always remember his great services where shias are not welcome at all.

He was the first person to establish Shia mosque in Madina Al Munawwara in disguise and today that mosque has emerged as central worshipping place in Madina.

He used to wash all dead bodies himself during his early days be they saudis or foreigners and would assist their bodies to be buried in Jannatul Baqi.  He had number of volunteers who were trained by him during his life time.

He authored many books in fiqh and at the same time he used to cultivate his own lands for the benefits of others.

His son Sheikh Hashim is leading prayers in Madina mosque and other son Sheikh Faraj is serving in the eastern province.

Kindly let the community know about this great personality who has left this universe today.  This is true death of a learned Alim is the death of the universe.

May Allah (swt) afford him the best place in Jannah with 14 Masoomeens (a.s.).  He was the real soldier of Imam-e-Zamana (a.s.).
