Indeed contrary to belief, but Islam does promote one to lead a comfortable life and enjoy all the goods things that Allah (swt) has made halaal for us - needless to say...everything in moderation. The forthcoming generation is our biggest asset and it is very important that the mantle of responsibility to lead a God consciousness life coupled with endevouring to be successful in the day to day life is imbibed in them. This is the challenge we face today in light of the growing peer pressure of a westernised society that our children are influenced by in their daily lives. May Allah (swt) give us and our children the taufiq to remain on Haq covered in the love of Mohammad (s) and Ahle Mohammad (a) in this world and the hereafter. Was salaam How true are the words of our beloved Prophet (s).

Well, I read this article on Yahoo headlines but it didn't fascinate me..that's because materialism is spread throughout the world but for me spiritual health is at the top of the list. I know that by reading my comment many people would seem to be accepting (as many of my classmates do) that they are materialistic..
